[This may not have appeared on the website correctly yesterday. Apologies for the delay. - 4/15]

A little basic information about the Cunningham Children's Home which provides programs in Champaign Countyand its funding from its website:
Through comprehensive programs and services, we provide expert care to help our kids learn positive coping and behavioral skills, to achieve realistic academic goals, and to develop the life skills necessary to be successful in our community.

Cunningham is an exemplary child welfare and educational services agency that provides caring support and therapeutic intervention to more than 450 children, youth, young adults, and their families each year.

Part of that fundraising is happening soon. From the News-Gazette today:
Weekend Planner | Piecing it all together
Cunningham Children’s Home is the site for the 14th annual Festival of Quilts this weekend. Proceeds benefit the home, which provides residential, community-based and educational services to children with emotional, behavioral, developmental or mental health disorders. “Our mission is to see every child thrive by providing a safe place to heal, learn and grow,” coordinator Ginger McKee said. Last year’s event attracted nearly 1,400 visitors and raised more than $76,000 for the home. Today’s festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with activities at three different venues on the Cunningham campus. The suggested donation for admission is $5
